At Moxa Tours, we strive to provide the best travel experiences. However, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding cancellations and refunds for our Domestic and International packages.
1. Cancellation by the Traveler
Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing via email to info@moxatours.in. The following cancellation charges apply based on the date of notification:
- 30 days or more before departure: 25% of the total tour cost.
- 15 to 29 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost.
- 07 to 14 days before departure: 75% of the total tour cost.
- Less than 7 days or "No Show": 100% of the total tour cost (No Refund).
Note: Airfare, Train tickets, and Visa fees are subject to the specific airline/carrier/embassy policies and are often 100% non-refundable once issued.
2. Refund Process
Once a cancellation request is approved, the refund process will be initiated:
- Refunds are processed within 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancellation approval.
- The amount will be credited back to the original payment method or via bank transfer.
- Any transaction fees or GST charged at the time of booking are non-refundable.
3. Cancellation by Moxa Tours
In rare cases, Moxa Tours may need to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (Natural disasters, political instability, etc.). In such cases:
- We will offer an alternative date for the same tour.
- Or, we will provide a full refund of the amount paid to us (excluding non-refundable flight/visa costs already incurred).
4. Force Majeure
Moxa Tours shall not be responsible for any refund if the tour is delayed or cancelled due to "Force Majeure" events such as pandemics, strikes, weather conditions, or government restrictions. In these cases, we will issue a "Credit Note" which can be used for future bookings.
